The wedding of Anita + Taber was a worldwide celebration of love, captured incredibly by photographer Miles Witt Boyer. As guests arrived from around the globe, they were greeted by an elegant ceremony and reception at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art put together by Taylor Hight of Amanda Reed Weddings.
The Bride, Anita, requested a wild and whimsical Bridal Bouquet consisting of dainty and branching florals. Created from a base of foraged spirea, we added in white sweet pea and cream butterfly ranunculus, accented by lavender clematis, fritillaria, hellebore and black scabiosa.
For the Ceremony space, on the lawn of the Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman-Wilson House, we were inspired to create a crescent-shaped meadow for the captivating couple. Using foraged spirea, honeysuckle and forsythia for shape and branching movement we added in floral elements for texture and depth. White larkspur, stock, statice and limonium with gatherings of cream astilbe, completed the look.
After the Ceremony, the Great Hall was reminiscent of an elegant forest. The couple requested tall glass trumpet vases with branching greenery for height and drama. To be paired with table ferns provided by the couple themselves.
Dinner, dancing, and joyous celebration of Anita's West African heritage concluded this evening to remember!
